Services to Women & Families

Case Manager Assistant
Provide crisis intervention to domestic violence clients, provide services as required, provide hotline crisis information and referral services, conduct shelter intakes, exits and necessary support services for DV clients, demonstrate good communication skills, dependability, self-responsibility and commitment, compile data and record statistics as assigned. Full time/part time/sub positions, all shifts available. Salary: $8/hr. High school diploma/GED required.

Customer Service Representative
Provide various reception area services and resident interaction, handle all reception services, answer telephone, take in all monies, ability to handle multiple tasks, excellent written and verbal communication skills. High school diploma/GED required. Salary $8/hr Sub positions for all shifts.

Maintenance

Maintenance/Housekeeping – Provide the skills necessary to ensure a safe and clean environment, plan & complete the works assigned by the Facilities Mgr & Coordinator, substitute as necessary to cover shifts, provide the physical labor to carry out the work plan, work as a team member with all staff, flexible work schedule, provide services to off-site facilities as required, ability to act prudently in an emergency situation as well as in daily activities. Clean driver’s license preferred. Salary varies with experience. High school diploma/GED required.

Children's Centers

Teachers/Assistant Teachers – Responsible for functions relating to the teacher/assistant teacher of the YWCA of Schenectady Early Childhood Education sites.

UPK teachers - must have their teaching certification, Bachelor’s or Master’s, experience with children a must, flexible hours, competitive pay, fringe benefits.

Infants & Toddler teachers – must have AS early childhood or related field, CDA in Infant/Toddler care or 9 college credits in ECE or a related field and 1 year of specific training and/or experience in Infant/Toddler care.

Salary varies with experience and education.
